My family and I have Bible reading every night. We switch Bible's all the time. And they say the same thing, they are just worded differently. Like in adult books, there are difficult bigger words. With teens and kids bibles, it is easier to understand. But they are all saying the same thing.
When all the preachers, bishops, etc etc stop sitting in the pulpit preaching hate against homosexuals all while sleeping w/ the altar boys at the same time then MAYBE we'll have some respect.
My pastor does not do that. Others, I don't understand why they preach. But because a few do stuff like that, don't get the opinion that every preacher is like that. Because they are not.

There's a difference between switching from the King James version to the American Standard version to the Contemporary English version every night, vs switching from the King James version to the original Greek version (New Testament) to the original Hebrew version (Old Testament). The current English version is MUCH different that the original versions in Greek and Hebrew, and most historians and translators will agree that many many many parts are so loosely translated and different translations would completely alter the English meaning.
I'm sick of the church gathering up our money while I'm trying to get my prayer on just so they can get some coins to get their former pastor out of jail for molesting little Johnny two weeks ago at Sunday school.
And it's not like it's a few isolated incidents. It's a full-blown epidemic
And that sad part about all this is, the bible clearly states "All Sins Are EQUAL" meaning I could flip over a bus of jewish orphans and it would be the same thing as telling a little white lie or guess what? BEING GAY!

Ch, please. No they don't. I was basically raised in the church. I've been to hundreds, possibly thousands of different churches, read bibles in different languages, and have visited many denominations. They do not all say the same thing.

What rock are you living under? Plenty of churches are going out preaching hate against gays. As a Gaga/fan/stan you should be well aware of the churches boycotting Gaga's concerts.

You don't know what your preacher does when you aren't around. Thousands of preachers are sleeping w/ men. Like Nicol said it's a ****ing epidemic, not just a few cases here and there.

Yes Gaga is a catholic, and she doesn't hide the fact that she's very religious and loves God, yet churches still condemn here for being a "*** enabler"
