When is GaGa's video coming out? Perhaps that will give her the push that she needs, but she doesn't seem to benefit that well from videos like someone like Katy - which makes me wonder if she will be releasing her video at the same time as GaGa.

I doubt the music video's gonna push TEOG to #1. Her audience is still relatively low. Unless the digital boost from the MV synchronizes with around 90 million AI or something, she stands no chance against RITD.

The U.S. usually catches on to singles like "Rolling in the Deep" late. A song like this doesn't catch on as quickly as something like "California Gurls." "Need You Now," "I'm Yours," and "Hey Soul Sister" took some time to take off, and all three had longevity and were among some of the biggest songs of their years.

Even though it did get a fair amount of popularity, I wish "Dog Days Are Over" could have fallen under the "one of the biggest non-conventional songs of the year" category.
