This reminds me of the same situation last year. Alejandro was shooting up iTunes (it had HUGE airplay in the UK and the video, unlike in the US, had an extremely positive effect) and there were a lot of rumours going around that Gaga would be performing Alejandro on BGT. Then she didn't, and the guest performers ended up overtaking her on iTunes, leaving her with her #7 peak... I don't understand why they don't see this as huge promotion!

Midweeks had her at #1 all week, basically. She sold 24k Sun-Mon and on Wednesday was outselling Adele by 75%. I reckon she'll end up with a total of 70-80k this week.

Shes coming to Europe this week anyway for her GMNT performance on Thursday so it seems to ridiculous to miss out on this opportunity. Well at least we will have Paul O Grady, Daybreak and maybe she will do This Morning or Loose Women or something too. There is nothing else. Is Alan Carr chat show running at the moment? What about Live Lounge.

P O'G is good promo. Daybreak will give a boost if she chooses a wise song to perform. She should do TEOG acoustic or Y&I rather than a dancey number, as they appeal more to the album-buying mothers that make up the Daybreak viewership. If she is in the UK and, more specifically, at ITV, she should stop in to TM and LW. Again, a wise choice of song on LW could do wonders - middle-aged women buy albums. There really isn't many other promo opportunities at present. Alan Carr isn't on at the minute, I don't think. The next major promo slot is XF. I hope she makes use of that in the fall/winter... Not doing BGT would be/is a big missed opportunity.

Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man' returns on 17th June. Live Lounge is on every week I think.

You're completely right about the middle aged women but they might aswell wait until Christmas before they start aiming at that market. I just want some promo which will give TEOG a boost on Itunes and encourage radio to play it.
The situation is a bit messy at the moment in the UK. The TV music channels have Judas on heavy rotation,its been in the top 10 for a few weeks now and it jumped back up on the radio airplay chart last week. TEOG doesn't have any promo although it is getting some airplay. & the fact that Radio 1 have both songs on the A list is confusing people.
