Something tells me that Interscope is going to let a lot of the hype for the album die down while The Edge of Glory climbs. I think they'll try to let The Edge of Glory carry it through the summer without a ton of promo in the United States. Expect a new single and a new wave of promotion as the holiday season approaches, though. I have a feeling they will REALLY push this + any type of Christmas album she makes as we get closer to Thanksgiving/Christmas.

There's 23 countries with an iTunes store.
Each country = 1,000 points if you are #1, so the highest you can get it 23,000 points.
There's no difference between the countries. Ex: a #1 album in the US gives you 1,000 points, and a #1 in X country gives you 1,000 points.

Yeah, US! I'm hoping that she really pulls out all the stops as the awards season comes around. VMAs, AMAs, Grammys. She just needs to be everywhere. I think the way her label (and Troy, especially) has been talking, she will be doing huge worldwide promo. Which I am glad for. This album deserves to do well.

I hope sales will be close to 'The Fame's ones But now Gaga is more an international artist, with the right promo she could sell really well!
