I didn't really like it, a video like this NEEDS a storyline since the song tells you an exact story. It started off good, I was ready to see why she killed him after he got shot, but I was let down. Ok they got into an argument? Over what.... and some of the beauty shots seemed out of place and just there to be seen. They should have really focused on her and him throughout the entire video and led us up to the murder.

I agree with this. There was no storyline, contrary to what people are saying in here. I was thoroughly engaged at the beginning of the video when she shot a man down, but the story as to why it happened was left by the wayside and, instead, the video just focused on random "The Ring" type of shots of Rihanna. She and some random guy get into an argument at the club and he "sexually assaults" her? That's weak. It makes the song and video
unnecessarily heavy to add a "rape scenario," and really detracts from the song and video as a whole. The concept should have remained in the realm of a "cheating man" or what have you. There's so many different ways they could have gone with the concept.
