I don't think Amazon is included, since it's projected that BTW will sell ~400k alone there. However, iTunes probably is.

I think it is possible, guys, that these totals do not include online retailers, at least one of the major stores and probably many of the 21,000 other stores that sold the album.

It does include online retailers, the American Idol albums were only available on iTunes and they have reported sales for them, so a % of iTunes sales has been reported for GaGa as well.
