Under normal circumstances it would've hit #1, but Adele's multi-format monster is just unstoppable right now.

I think it's a pretty commercial-sounding track that can hit 2xP eventually. If TEOG doesn't work out, is there another single to fall back on? Not sure there is, though I guess she could give You and I a shot for the fall.

I also think the fact that it was the finale actually was detrimental to the AI effect. While logically it seems as if 29M viewers would be a good thing, this was the finale episode and most immediate purchases went to the winners' songs. On top of that, the show was just flooded with performances.

Why not Hair? Thats a really good song. Its radio friendly too like TEOG
