What I find hilarious is how Britney stans harp on RTWs chart position as if it matters. Britney is a pure example of hit singles not doing a thing for album sales. Also, it's a known fact that you don't need a hit record in order to move albums. What makes anyone think Beyoncé's album won't sell more than FF? Yes, Britney had hit singles, but she's also had horrible performances to go along w/ them. If her performances were good then that would've interested the public, and then that interested would've generated better sales.

You are only partly right. ISAF was a glorious era for Bey internationally. It spawned her biggest selling European album. But in the US I would say that ISAF is on B'Day's level but a bit lower.

I mean B'Day released a certain astonishingly-mega-airplay-smash that Bey (and no one else other than Mimi) will ever top. It ended up scanning 3,200,000 sales per Soundscan, which is more than the 2,9M scanned by ISAF. Of course one could argue that sales were higher back then, but I would say that B'Day was a bit bigger than ISAF in the states.

Right. Alicia moves albums, and only has a few hit singles to her album. Even EOF sold over 400K in it's first week alone with zero hits.
