Half of Taylor album was in the Top 10 by now. It looks like GaGa won't pull 1M, maybe half of Taylor's number.
Do you know where Eminem's songs from Recovery where after the album was released? Did he had many songs in the top 10 20 30? His album sold 700K++ first week.

Yes.
"Love the Way You Lie" was #1, "No Love" went #8. "Won't Back Down" also went Top 20. "25 to Life", "Talkin' 2 Myself", "Cold Wind Blow" were also Top 50. "Not Afraid" was also in the Top 20 on the album release week, but that was the single version.
Well it's out of stock in so many stores! Was this happening for Taylor as well in the first day?
I never saw Taylor's out of stock anywhere. Target was stocked with ungodly amounts of Speak Now when it came out. But, on the same note, I haven't seen Gaga's album sold out anywhere, either (locally).
That makes no sense. Taylor sold 1,000,000+ albums first week yet half of her album was in the Top 20.
True, but the fact that Amazon is dealing with heavy traffic, stocks are selling out, and the albums are #1 and #3 on iTunes within just 13 hours of release is reassuring enough.

Why it doesn't make sense? It depends on how much of those 1 million sales were digital ones and also how much was the selling power of the other songs of that period compared to the current period.... People witnessed out of stock situations in many stores throughout the us (not to say uk and ireland as well)...
