Waiting on Netherlands iTunes for the album to go #1 reminds me of waiting for BTW to go #1 on Japan iTunes when it was released after a popular local artist released a song a couple of days prior
Born This Way was a huge smash, it went #1 in over 20 countries! And even though it 'underperformed' in the UK, it is well on its way to 500.000 sales!

Regarding the UK fiasco, I am convinced that she'd have gone to #1 if she promoted it here when it first came out. The recent promo has helped it to climb from #34 to #16 and those were relatively minor appearances. I can't imagine what her sales would have been if she had done the Brits
