Does anyone else think that Scheisse was probably one of the first songs written for Born This Way? It sounds like a harder, darker continuation of The Fame Monster, and doesn't really fit in with the rock theme of the majority of the album.

I get what you're saying, but I still think it fits well thematically. It is an empowerment anthem and I suppose one could argue that music isn't all about the sound, rather the lyrics in this song allow this to fit perfectly with the rest of the album.

I'm not sure, tbh. If the the show or performance is buzzed about, which it could be with the finale and two big names participating. It wouldn't be comparable to Idol, though.

I think usually they do, SNL catapulted Chasing Pavements to the top when Adele performed it in 2008.

Depends on the artist/the song. Another (crappy) Judas-Performance.. noho. But TEOG, maybe piano... could help. But not as much buzz as IDOL for sure.

Yeah, was thinking about that too. But that performance was her first us-performance ever, right? So that performance was special anyway.

Well I guess we'll have to wait and see. If it's the finale, though, it will surely have some effect. Plus, having SNL and American Idol in one week can't be detrimental!
