What I dont get about that is that, she WANTED Gaga to take risks and even if she were to flop, she said it was better to flop doing something different and not using the same repeated formula over and over. But everyone's entitled to their opinions. Im glad Gaga gave us this album. I was a bit shocked, since I was expecting another TFM but im so glad she went in a different direction. She needs to evolve as an artist, playing it safe wont get her anywhere. Im sure she's well aware that the album isnt very commercial but at the end of the day I'm happy because she's so proud of it, and its an amazing album. And thats all I need

I honestly don't care how many albums Gaga sells or how many number 1's she'll get, although they are an added bonus.
I just care about her quality of music and whether or not she's passionate about the music she's releasing.

Well, I have only been here for a few months so I can't say I know everything. I will, however, say that ever since the moment I've been here she's had nothing but negativity to spread about Gaga and everything she does (aside from GH) every moment of every day and I'm not here for that.
I half-expected her to pop out as alexz or satellites undercover trying to lead the Gaga stanbase, but even they stan for this album harder than Nicole.

She doesnt "stan"" for her anymore. And thats fine. Sometimes we grow out of loving artists as with any other thing in life. I guess I just dont understand the reasoning, but to each his own. She'll always lose fans but also gain others

Same here. When you keep doing the same thing over and over the public gets sick of you. Yes a #1 single is nice and all, but no shade, FF has a #1 single but the album has underperformed and it hasnt been a standout era from her. People get tired of being fed the same exact thing especially with soooo many artists doing the same sound. It's about time someone got some balls and did things different. She made the album SHE wanted to make, and not the safe generic choice. Even if you hate the album( ) you need to commend her for that.

Not gonna lie, I could honestly care less if this album goes #1 or flops. I love it, and I'm only here for the music anyways.... the charts don't decide wether I like a song or not.

I don't really care about her opinions concerning Gaga and never really have. I'm beyond pleased with the album in its entirety, and that's enough for me.
That said, I did enjoy what BBC Music had to say about the album:
Quote:
Please enjoy someone actually putting a bit of effort and imagination back into pop, and keep the sneering and lazy comparisons in check. Not that they can take anything away from what is, simply, a marvellous record

I absolutely love the album and am actually surprised that there aren't any fillers on it.
I can't wait to buy the physical Special Edition on Monday and the Standard Edition on iTunes

I stopped looking at the itunes chart, when I saw LMFAO, and Glee covers in the top 10. But I'm here to judge others musical taste. I am actually quite happy she took risks, and didn't release the same old same old again just to garantee chart sucess.
