Well I also think radios refusing to play it had a huge impact on it flopping. That and the fact that it was released about a month too early. It was forced to compete with BTW's longevity, and with that "leak" pushing the release up to where it only had like two/three days of first week sales, it was screwed from the beginning. Plus, it has a much harder, more industrial sound than Bad Romance, and upon first listen, I knew it would be a stretch for the average listener.

Imo, Judas got ****ed over by the context of its release and its heavily produced, industrial sound, not really its relation to the Fame Monster or Bad Romance.

In the booklet, there's a bunch of lyrics at the end of Bad Kids that aren't in the leaked version of the song, so is the album version different and/or is said version available right now?

I do think that competing with BTW had something to do with it under-performing (BTW has waaaay more power than anyone could've expected), but I honestly just don't think the initial impression was that positive, and the resemblance to BR maybe had something to do with it imo. I don't think Judas even reached top 10 on iTunes in every country like TEOG did.
