Judas was released on a friday which split its first sales week. It also has had practically no promo.
TEOG was released in full competition with Judas and simultaneously had to compete with its airplay.
Hair has just been released and has to compete with three other Gaga songs so....

its just the strength of the songs vs the competition... I really like gaga to go #1 , but based on these singles it will be an uphill climb... i mean controversy or 1st single buzz cant propel her to #1 anyomore in Billboard after BTW,. i mean a new strategy perhaps? load it in radio first like for 2 weeks before releasing the single? I mean its better to have a #1 slowly than a race to #1 debuts everytime lately which failed Judas, Just A Kiss (Lady Antebellum), Till the world ends (Britney), i mean if we could see it Katy perrys song has been loaded on radio alot lately before official single releases (i mean official, after albums) , The audience is already there to buy the SINGLES not just the die hard fans... Another example Rolling in the Deep (adele), Grenade (Bruno Mars) all had great radio runs thus stable single sales which let them go to #1 and stay(ing) there longer. ITS the PROMO really from the LABELS>.... I hope they BUILD UP gaga this way now...
