I was kind of dissapointed with EOG tbh. I was expecting something more powerful based off descriptions. Ive listened to it quite a bit but it has yet to hit home. I dont feel anything when listening to it at all. It was a bit underwhelming, same with BTW.
TEOG is a much more powerful song when you know the message behind it. If I heard it on the radio with out it being explained I would think its just another love song, but the euphemism of the Edge of Glory for death makes the song one of my faves Gaga has done.

It does have a great message indeed and it's a great song overall but we both know that Gaga could've done even more to deliver that message. The lyrics aren't as good as they could be for a message like that. BTW was at least in your face and said directly what Gaga wanted to say.
And I always hear that thing at 3:04 which kinda annoys me.
I hope they remastered it on the album.
