The songstress has admitted her ex is trying to get his mitts on her cash...

Adele has revealed that her ex-boyfriend has demanded a cut of the royalties she received from her debut album, 19.

The Someone Like You singer, whose first album is currently sitting pretty at No.3 in the Official UK Album Chart, claims to The Sun that her former flame has been pestering her for cash after she used their break-up as inspiration to pen some of her tunes.

She explained to the newspaper: "For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it. Finally, I said, 'Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.'"

The songstress continued: "He really thought he'd had some input into the creative process by being a p****. I'll give him this credit - he made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm travelling."

As well as 19 still being in the top three despite being released in 2008, Adele's sophomore album, 21, has just spent it's fourteenth week at No.1, and looks likely to extend it's chart reign.

The Chasing Pavements hitmaker may be queen of the charts, but she also confessed to The Sun that she can appreciate a good pop tune from her rivals Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue.

Adele explained: "I'm a huge fan of pop music. I love it. I don't listen to music like my own. I just seem to click with the acoustic, honest and moving music."

The star added: "I adore get-your-t***-out music. Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Kylie are all great girls and delivering top music. It's just that I'm not the right fit to perform like that so I'm going down my own path."

Adele has previously admitted to having a huge girl crush on RiRi, stating she finds the 23-year old "hot" and would have sex with her!

Says a flop stan who wants The Big Flop Bass to be the 3rd single after it had three televised performances and flopped on iTunes (couldn't even crack top 100). Unlike the Circus singles, the only songs that had televised performances were Circus and Womanizer. TBFB had the media exposure and even a brief spot in the documentary during the recording process and still was given the hand by the general public.


Fact of the matter is, I am not here for a song with just a hook and nothing else. Where are the verses? Sometimes we need not just release a song because the beat is hot or addicting. The substance of the song only validate people's open of her music being repetitive with no substance behind it. Even Gimme More, which is repetitive had enough verses with lyrics to offset the repetitiveness...The Big Fat Bass doesn't have that. People argue that it could be her "OMG" or something are too much. Unlike TBFB, OMG was actually a really good song and was done really well. TBFB has to be one of the poorest creations of Will.i.am; outside of the instrumental the song just falls flat. I actually think I Wanna Go can be utilized more universal than TBFB can be.

I ain't here for BFB topping the bubbling under chart.

I'd rather have IWG underperforming like IUSA considering it's the third single, atleast it's a good song after the legacy that was Till The World Ends".

I see you're stancard got revoked by default when you started stanning for BFB.

And don't even try me, cause I was one of the few guys who were pretty optimistic about BFB when the demo first leaked. And the full version released, I can't even.

It's not a bad song, but considering the quality of the other songs, it's not surprising the song is considered the filler of the main album. and let's not even with the intro where my itunes is on default to skip to 0:15 without that irritating bullfrog voice of will.i.am...

Earlier today, BreatheHeavy posted an exclusive claiming that “I Wanna Go” will be the third single off of Femme Fatale. And from what I’m now hearing…it’s true!

Considering that the song was originally pegged to be single #2 from Femme Fatale (until “Till The World Ends” was recorded in the final hour), it’s no surprise that Team B are (wisely) choosing to stay the course with the next pick in line.

Then again, since plans change literally every five seconds in Spears Land, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation before getting too too pumped.

But if it’s still a GO? Let’s smash the charts this summer with one of the best bangers on Femme Fatale!
