Wouldn't releasing Battleship and LOUD re-release at the same time be beneficial? At events promoting Battleship. she can talk about the re-release, for good promotion. And vice-versa, at events promoting the re-release, she can mention Battleship.

Hmmm...I guess. But generally musicians usually focus on movies when they do them, and put their music aside. Except it's a soundtrack. And I'm sure she isn't doing a soundtrack album. Maybe she'll do one song. It just makes sense to me that she'll want to wrap up everything with music before Battleship.
And I think May 2013 is way too far. I see Loud era ending May 2012. A re-release will not be promoted for a year. I see it lasting for about 6 months. We'll probably get it late this year/early next year and she'll release maybe 2 singles then extend the tour till battleship. If she does wrap up the Loud era by mid-2012, her new album will def be out early 2013. The break will be 9 months tops. Unless she just wants to delay the album just for the sake of it. And if she does, I'm sure we'll get some high profile collabs again. Like Run This Town before Rated R.
