J.Lo, Pitbull, Miley,Selena and many others. Radio sees there's no interest in song on iTunes by public and drops songs out of rotation. As soon as those songs show up in Top 5/10 on iTunes, they jump on them seeing public is interested in them. Simple as that.

Around this time we can all see the true fans/stans of Beyoncé. Now the hype is over and everybody's gone again.

Thank you for the clarification, many people don't understand that this is possible.

With the buzz of Beyonce from the Met Gala hopefully this will start to curb the enthusiasm, this is the beginning of the promotion even tho she didn't as so much whisper a word of the single!
