At any rate, at this point I think they really should have kept Marry the Night as the lead single if it's as good and different as people say it is. I'm wondering if she's put herself in a situation now where the inability of the label to say "no" to her is going to hurt her in the long run. Everybody needs to be reined in at some point.

I've been feeling the same way for a while now, hence my thread questioning whether Judas was the right second single choice. I think the BTW (song) turned off a lot of people and even though Judas is absolutely amazing, to many it's just too familiar to get them excited. At least these are the only sceneraios i can fathom being the reason for the turning of events. I'm also convinced theres some "political" situation regarding radio that's preventing a lot of stations from playing it, but thats anoter story.
I too think opening week sales
may have been compromised. If Judas dosen't get big soon the lack of a hit is not going to do the album any favors, especially considering the drawn out release date, which is increasingly seeming like a horrible idea.
But on a more optimistic note, this is "GaGa" and Interscope we're talking about. I seriously can't see Judas remaining in a stagnant state of mediocre reception, especially with BTW riding on it's back. I'm completely confident (or delusional lol) that something (or many things) will occur that gets things back on the right track, and fast.
