Yeah, I keep forgetting that Judas's AI is not much higher than what BTW had in its first day. There was a lot more immediate exposure.
Still, it feels like other stars haven't had too much of an issue sending their songs to #1 (even subsequent singles) and having them stay there, so it's a bit discouraging.
I guess Judas isn't that immediately accessible (except for the chorus), so maybe that's part of it. I hear people say they're a bit put off by the dissonance of the verses, but there were a lot of people who didn't like BR at first.

Wow... YOu mirror my exact thoughts on the JUDAS situation. While it may be slightly comforting that Bad Romance had a similar beginning, it's equally if not more discouraging to know that her "competition" easily sends single after single to the top spot where they tend to hover for a very long time.
.........
Also, I'm convinced there's some political aspect taking place that's preventing JUDAS from soaring on Radio. I know that often times radio's will play an artist more in exchange for concert tickets and other items (a form of payola) and i'm beginning to wonder if they boycott artists if certain ends of a deal aren't held up. I only mention this because in the Bay Area not a single station I listen to has played JUDAS.
I've heard it one time since it's leaked which is very weird considering i listen to 3 different (POP) radio's all day when at work. Also, one of the radio's is very very early with new music and will
always play a new release immediately (even if not HQ lol) as soon as it leaks or is announced as a single. I'm convinced it's related to details regarding the the BTW mass play.
