Re-releasing is what I meant. A new album shouldn't be released until later next year if she plans on re-releasing TD.

Better no re-release and then new album next spring/summer. She will easily sell 2 million without re-release.

As of last week on Worldwide Album Charts:

Loud: 64,000
Teenage Dream: 40,000

TD might be outselling Loud in the US (so far), but it's not like the US is the only market in the world. The UK has proven to have high album sales and maybe even more consistent than the US.

Not to be a downer, but you do realize a lot of Katy's increase is thanks to her label discounting for the 5th time.
It probably got an extra 5k on sunday, thats why its more than expected.

Both Katy & Rih should sell a lot again next week thanks to the discount.
