but that has nothing to do with it being .69 cents. Look im not hating on Katy if that's what your thinking. But you can't say a song will be more remembered than another bc it's higher on iTunes with a .69 cents price tag, and the other song was just released a few months ago. You simply can't compare them at this point.
Now sales and peaks doesn't matter at all because you can peak at #50 and sell 500,000 copies and still be a classic and be remembered... so why are all stanbases here discussing peaks, sales and positions? And why is everybody shading other artists?
