The difference is, I'm sure most of the votes come from Britney stans voting on their own faves stuff, hence the 5 stars in the ten-thousands. That makes sense. Versus stans of others voting Beyonce's stuff down. It doesn't make any sense to go out of one's way like that.

You know what, Gaga stans are overly cocky and bitchy sometimes BUT at least they have a reason to be since she is doing good for herself as an artist. Looking at those tweets from the Britney stan is sad and embarrassing, especially considering the fact that he and others are promoting rating RTWG 1 star instead of buying Britneys album and helping promote her music. The thing is he seems to be forgetting RTWG has been out 3 days and only 3 days and they claim its underperforming. We'll see what under performs when she shows up on television and that album opens with over 450k.

Even if I don't like Girls as a Beyoncé single, I still love her way more than any other of the other girls, so I would happy to see it slay like SL did. I was a fan of Beyoncé since early Destiny's Child and have always been a casual fan

I love this song but I don't think it's going #1.

People keep bringing up the "Single Ladies" comparison, but that did not get NEARLY as bad of a response as this. And on top of that, it flew to #1 on iTunes the DAY of release.

I think this song WILL be a hit due to the video & performances, but #1 just seems unlikely.
