Beyoncé is the Queen because she has the grammy's, a Legend Award, Female Of The Decade, just the Single Ladies music video, 100mil + tour, the praise from Legends to back that up.

I just can’t relate to those that feel this doesn’t sound different for Bey. The aggression is the same, but the style(arrangment, structure of the song) is quite different and sound is like nothing on radio. We needed Bey with a twist, just to see her present something new. How lame would it be to get SL pt2 or Sweet Dreams pt2. You have to respect someone that doesn’t try to capitalize off their past, by recycing the same music(for Heaven’s sake, we have artist that are duplicating songs that sound like classic hits by other artist, not to mention their own from a year or 2 ago as well). “Girls” is refreshing and new. Bey started from the ground up with this one and I’m appreciative of how she puts that kind of pressure on herself as an artist.

Finally, the words are a problem for some people – I actually find that the words are pretty decent. It’s almost similar in how SL had a certain kind of strength to it. Bey gives it to you straight, she’s a very direct person when it comes to her message. Women should be independent! Some people need this, believe me! Lastly, when people say they heard all this from Bey before, I’m really confused. If you dissect some of her songs you’d see that these concepts are different. Her songs are anthems because they became huge… It’s not that she’s repeating the same messages and making the same anthem over and over! Single Ladies – is pretty much about respecting the institution of marriage (and not losing out on something good before it’s too late) . Irreplaceable – She getting rid of a man and letting him know that she basically doesn’t “need” him. Crazy in love- She’s totally infactuated with the man in her life. Girls- Run the world, be your own person so that you can always have your identity and your own voice! What’s redundant here???

its funny how rihanna who is well into her 20’s could’ve sung that crap “only girl in the world” but beyonce cant say that girls run the world. if people listen to the lyrics they would get somethin out of it! this version is different from what we are hearing and i for one love it, not because its beyonce but because its catchy.everyone is saying that its catchy cuz its a sample but its her delivery and use of it that sets it apart. Lets be real, how any grown ass legendary singers and sangers use the term “woman” when they are speaking to grown ass women? i mean on one level she uses it as an identifier and lets be real in america ‘girl” is a colloquialism so i think that the use of the term is fine. it may not be the absolute best lyrically, but its better than “i cant take it take it anymore’, “ssss and mmm, i like it like it come on” and “i was born this way hey i was born this way hey i’m on the right track baby i was born this way hey’…like really? get over it, you guys are jus hating cuz its beyonce!!
