Finally heard the finished version. They cleaned up some of the extra noise that was on the demo. Honestly, the way people are hating on this you'd think she'd just released Baa Baa Black Sheep. It's probably my least favorite lead single from her, but anyone who says this won't be hot in the clubs is a liar.
Beyonce's songs aren't popular because of the thematic content, it's the attitude she brings to her music. "I think I need a baawbaah, none of these bitches can faaaaaade me." It's not even the words, it's the way she sings it. She has swagger that no other girl right now can compete with.
