Beyoncé is still in the studio working on her fourth solo album, slated for release later this year, but the pop star's first taste of the record has leaked online. Head over to Rap Radar to stream the new track "Girls (Who Run the World)."
On this cut, Beyoncé improbably takes the martial drum beat from Major Lazer's "Pon de Floor" and turns it into a rousing girl power anthem similar to "Single Ladies" and "If I Were a Boy," although this is far rowdier than any of those tracks: it's bolstered with all sorts of synth squiggles and raw chanting. "Who run this mutha?" Beyoncé cries. "Girls! Girls!"
As has been previously reported, Beyoncé's new album may find the pop star teaming up with indie hot shots (which isn't a shocker considering she's been spotted with husband Jay-Z at Grizzly Bear concerts). In addition to Diplo's side project Major Lazer, Sleigh Bells and Odd Future have reportedly hit the studio with the singer.

If Beyonce would’ve made songs like BTW, Only Girl, HIAM everyone would’ve said that she is just following trends and call the song generic.
If she does ballads everyone would say that it was boring and they want to dance. (See: I Am…)
Another thing is I don’t get why people are bragging on Beyonce sampling a song when every other artist does it? But when Beyonce is doing it, she is of course STEALING.
Why people are talking about Beyonce’s age and what music she should be making is way beyonce me when Britney, J. Lo, Mariah Carey, Madonna have made the same type of songs(even worse), but they don’t criticized as much as Beyonce.
People say Beyonce is not growing, UM PEOPLE LEARN THE MEANING OF GROWTH. Beyonce has grown with each album. DIL was typical r&b that Ashanti, Mya, Keri Hilson, or even Ciara could’ve done. B’Day sounded like nothing else out at the time. Everything about B’day was different. It was hard, edgy, dancy, but each song still had a substancial ammount of meaning. I am… Sasha Fierce had some of the best ballads of the past century. That’s Why Your Beautiful, Disapear, Halo, If I Were a Boy, Satelittes, Save The Hero, Smash Into you, Scared of Lonely. And even some of the uptempo’s were great. Sweet Dreams, Radio, and Hello were great tracks.

She didn't have the time to talk (She was not with Jay Z or well maybe he was there but I didn't see him & I met her in Concorde, I was doing some shopping with a friend luulz) a lot so we chated for like 2 minutes => The album IS done, she's in Paris for some tour clothing and for another thing (I forgot, it'll come back in a minute). There are featurings on 2 tracks but it's not sure yet if they're going to be on the album or not  . When I asked for the release of Girls she answered "You will know it when it gets released" I GOT MAAAAD LMFAO. I'll meet her on friday as I know where she will go.

The verses are nuts. The ways she raps, sings, chants, blurts out in the verses; I love it. There's no set melody to the verses; it's completely sporadic. I ****ing love that.
