A single not having a remix is a new phenomenon as back in the day singles used to be released with at least two or three remixes and an instrumental.

Besides S&M had no promotion in the US and a banned vidieo, yet it managed to reach no.2. That is not what I could call a 'weak' single.

For the Digital Songs Chart the original and the Remix will be combined so S&M will be #1 there.
