Exactly. I hope it doesn't get to her, because many people DO love it and it inspires so many people. Some people are just natural complainers IMHO. I mean, what more can she give you? Everyone's going to rate things, complain about things every now and then... but some people are too cruel when they call it her worse single.... it's better than most music out there at the least, and it has much more meaning (and value) than a song about dancing in a club.

That did make me feel bad for her. You can tell she thinks really highly of the song. But you have to be in touch with reality. You can't go around acting like you are going to release the greatest thing ever when it's not even better than your past work.

I think 'Born This Way' is much better than her past work. The only thing that comes close for me is 'Bad Romance.' But you have to understand that there is something amazing in 'Born This Way': the combination of its simplicity and how powerful it is are really striking. It makes me want to dance more than any other song she's ever made (except perhaps 'Judas') and I feel like it's a shame that so many of her fans aren't able to appreciate it. I hope down the road, especially after this entire album has some time to sink in, people will begin to appreciate it and how amazing it is.

Knowing GaGa she'll definately pull something out of this experiecnce.... My hope would be that it would manifest into the creation of a fresher freedom anthem that is equally as good, or better than JUDAS. A song that dosen't need rescuing from it's message.

i understand that born this way might not be to everyone's taste but to call it her worst single is so over exaggerated. Personally i love born this way as well, it is amazing and you can tell that she adores that song so it is quite upsetting that even her fans are saying stuff like that. although i think with born this way she did make new fans, for example my brother who doesnt care about gaga heard btw on the radio and he said he would prefer it over her other 'darker' songs.

I think she'll give us something epic with MTN or EOG. Those two songs have generally been really well received by critics/media people, especially EOG.

I'm not a huge fan of Born This Way but it's supposed awfulness is extremely exaggerated.

If it's a direct copy of Madonna's Express Yourself, why are all these overnight Madonna stans shading their fave like that?

I know a lot of people who prefer it over some of her other songs due to how light and cheery it is. I think the main reason it got hate was because it wasn't Bad Romance 2.0.

i dont think gaga wanted to make born this way a 'bad romance 2.0' anyway. she wanted the message to be literal and for it to not get lost in metaphors and for it to be the cheery song that it is. so personally i think she has achieved what she wanted with born this way and people who are looking for bad romance 2.0 can listen to judas instead, even though she still gets attacked for it being a direct copy of bad romance.

Yeah. Born This Way is a message, a lifestyle, a deeper meaning.

Bad Romance, as godly as the song is, it cannot hold its own weight with its meaning. True, yes, the meaning of the song is sick'ning and is what gives Bad Romance life (along with the RedOne production and killer hooks), however Born This Way has so much UMPH in it, it just boggles my mind. I didn't think it was possible for a song to ever MAKE anyone want to dance so vigorously as it makes me feel. I am so ready and also not ready enough for this album.
