Good, let her speak her mind like a normal person would talk. Of course I will be buying her "********" until she actually goes too far, but even them I would still listen to her music. She had a little breakdown & acted like a normal person would when they're having a breakdown. Retard may be a little drastic for a celebrity to use, but then again, I wonder how many of you that are complaining use it like it's everyday language. Only time will tell what her music will sound like, whether it's utter **** or a masterpiece. & Idgaf if she uses the same formula for her songs, it's a good formula that some people aren't tired of. To those who don't like her & obviously come in EVERY ****ing thread to bash her, wear an ear condom next time

My only criticism is she not use the word "retarded". Doubt this is just me being "sensitive", but it is an offensive word. Other than that, I'm glad she finally stood up for herself.

Judging by the quote after, i think it means something that you could find so out of this worldly and spiritual to you as a song with a spiritual message can be so quick to draw criticism. Not that God actually gave her the lyrics on a silver platter
But more that she had faith in the song so much and had such a spiritual experience writing it that she finds it demeaning for her work to immediately dismissed by people that havent even heard Express Yourself all the way through.

Wow, the pressure is really getting to her, huh? This whole interview seems really out of character. I'm not here for anyone who uses the word "retarded" to mean stupid; it automatically makes you sound unintelligent.
That said, I can't blame her for getting stressed out. She's correct, a lot of people want her to fail. You see the same determined haters everyday on this site, including this thread. She's said in that past that she's studied the art of fame, so I would expect her to be more careful. Made she should've taken a break.

Problem is y'all expect too much from her. IDK why people look at her as if she's non-human, unable to make mistakes. I'm sure GaGa will be more careful with her vocabulary once she's older, I'm sure everyone uses words they don't wanna use sometimes, like me, I say "that's so gay" and I'm bi, I don't think someone should be judge completely because of that.

I'm not y'all. I don't really care if she used it, to be completely honest, I just didn't like the "well, other people use it so it doesn't matter"-type comment you made. I agree with this tho. She is human & makes mistakes & is deeply invested & defensive of her art.
