That's one particular case, but that doesn't mean that's ALWAYS how it is. How about another example? Britney was originally set to receive Telephone, and even though she didn't write it (GaGa co-wrote it) she recorded the demo. However, ultimately it ended up being used by GaGa herself. Let's stop being silly and arguing over demos... only time will tell if Bey's final version is much different, but there's no use getting into a tussle over it...
you must be used to rihanna and britney demos being sung by other singers cuase many artist sing their own demos.
