it's clear the only reason it's brought up all the time, is because they feel that their opinion isn't justified with simple fact. "oh but it itsn't selling 2 x in india in the week of may 2nd on the previous year that X artist sold with their 4th studio album" to try to justify their case, but when it all comes down to it and we look at the overall picture - there's no way to argue it ; they know it and that's why they resort to such silly objectives. loud is selling signficanltly above anything britney, beyonce, p!nk, katy, ke$ha, etc. etc. are doing & they will just have to deal.

Rihanna has sold almost 21 million albums,and Rihanna has more succes with her singles WW Only girl was #1 in 17 countries, sold almost 7.4 millions WW and has sold almost 900.000 copies in the UK ALONE! show me a beyonce,britney, gaga single that sold that much.

PLUS comparing her with katy is unfair, katy is just a beginner! i will compare her to rih when she will have more than 4 albums out!
