Which is interesting because all of my HOOD fellas, like the straight up gangster-type, liked the "Born This Way" video. They liked the opening story and the guns and the skeletons. I think everybody, from all sectors, likes something that Lady Gaga has done. But Lady Gaga can't hold onto fans other than her monsters. The general public likes one thing about her and hates the next because she's not really consistent, which almost makes her interesting in that aspect.

I thing what's interesting to me about the BTW cover is that it's not really something a straight guy would be embarrassed to buy (I mean, obviously aside from the whole LG association).
Or maybe she's just trying to become more popular in China. They're crazy about Transformers there.

It's definitely edgier. I think that she is taking one step forward and a half step back with every move she's making this era. Non-monsters at my school say they love her new music about as much as some say they hate it.
