The American Idol finale CAN NOT be on May 26th, because that is when the 2 hour premiere of So You Think You Can Dance is happening.

Therefore, the finale is most likely on May 25.

Yes this was confirmed by The Futon Critic (a reputable site) and official contests for tickets to the finale say it's on May 25
