Oh, I want to see this so bad!
I think I'm going to watch all three back-to-back instead of sleeping tonight.

And why is David Arquette always first in the credits?

For example, I think the opening to Scream 2 is the best one, but overall my favorite is Scream 1. I'll just rate them like this.
Opening Sequences:
2>4>1>>>>>>>3
Endings:
2>>>4>>3>>>1
Everything In-between:
1>>>>>4>>>>>2>>>>>
|
Opening:
1 > 2 >> 4 >>>>>>>>>>>> 3
The opening for this one was really good, but IDK. I feel like it could've gone a little harder like the first two did. All of them easily beat #3, though.
Ending:
1 >> 3 > 2 > 4
How can both of you put the first ending last? It's so classic! Anyway, it's def my fave. The 3rd ending was good due to the big house scene, and the whole fight. Best thing about the 3rd one. Nothing too wrong with the last 2, just come in the end for me.
Characters:
2 > 4 > 3 > 1
All have great characters, but the 2nd one just goes all around. From Sidney's roommate, to Jada/her boyfriend, the college friends, etc. etc. SUPERB. The 4th had fun, cute characters. "3" had some awesome ones too, particularly the Gale-actress! The first one.. the outer characters weren't really developed all too well like the others. IMO.
Motives:
4 = 1 > 2 >>> 3
Always found it kind of silly she randomly had a brother in #3. And for #2, Billy's mother walked out on him, but suddenly vengeful. Yeah, didn't work for me. But the first two are pretty good.
Kills/Chase
3 = 2 > 1 >> 4
As sucky Scream 3 is, it had some pretty good kills/chases. The part with Jenny McCartney, the entire house scene, the part where the killers sending through fax machine. You can't deny the highlights! 2nd one was epic, with Gale/Dewey, Casey, the taxi scene. Scream 4 kills could've been better, and the chases were seriously lacking! While the 1st one, just okay.

Did
Jill do most of the killings or was she just the accomplice? I can't picture a female her size doing much damage.

I still haven't seen it! I've got finals coming up so I'll be perpetually cracked out in the library. How was Mary McDonnell/Aunt Kate? I love her as an actress, she's so incredible. I know that
she dies
but did she have any good moments? Did she get to flex her incredible acting chops?

The 2nd and 3rd were in alphabetical order, but I noticed in the first, it wasn't so much because Jamie Kennedy was a main character, yet he came after Skeet Ulrich in the credits? IDK. Not that big of a deal, but I always thought Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox should have been before David Arquette in the credits. I don't know if the 4th is in ABC order. I like paying attention to stuff like that.

For me, the openings for 1, and 4 were amazing. 1 was a shock because it killed off the biggest star of the movie, and set up the stage for the whole series. Scream 2 was good, but completely unrealistic. The killer just so happened to be in the bathroom stall right next to the guy he planned on killing? Come on. S3's opening was just a basic kill, nothing special. 4 was the most hilarious, shocking, and fun.
Regarding the ending, I don't consider the whole party scene the ending. The way I look at it, the ending is the closing scene. And the line said in the final scene of S4 was epic as all hell.
No one in S2 impressed me character wise except for the main 3. I liked Haley and Mickey but wasn't bothered by them dying like I was by 2 of the characters in Scream 4.

I'm kind guessing here, but...
Jill killed Trevor, Charlie, and Kate for sure, and tried killing Sidney, Hicks, and Dewey
Charlie killed Robbie, Kirby, and Olivia for sure, and tried to kill Gale
I'm unsure on the cops, Rebecca, or the opening scene.

I respect your opinion.
On the bottom..
Are you sure it was Charlie who tried to kill Gale? Wasn't he and Robbie hosting the Stab-A-Thon? I guess I didn't think about when they actually started the movie. The cops were definitely Jill. Snuck out the window, killed the cops, came back for her Mom. Charlie was already at Kirby's house. There's no questioning the speed of her getting there, that's always an issue.
