The first verse could be very confusing. I cant explain it myself because Ive only read a small amt of the bible but after reading other peoples responses it has to do with repentance and forgiving some one that you know is harmful in hopes they will be better.

Because Judas betrayed Jesus, the song and it's lyrics are a metaphor for being attracted to somone, something, or some situation that's not "ideal", desireable, or positive. It's about being attracted to darkness against all logic. Going after a lover who treated you like **** when you have someone "perfect" yearning for you...etc

In the most non-literal sense it's simply about being attracted to "wrongness", however you choose to define it.
