I agree with whoever said that Britney has done enough for this era. The public interest is NOT there.
The radio airplay she is receiving this era is more than most of her earlier eras and they all sold huge.
People know she has music out, they just don't care. Most of it probably has to do with the fact that it sounds like everything else (yes, it's better but it's still the same sound/type of music as everyone else).
The fact that she can't perform anymore kinda says it all. Everytime she performs, she gets slammed by everyone and I highly doubt those performances she gave are helping her sales. It's best if she doesn't promote, really.
They should release "Criminal" or "Inside Out" as the next 2 singles. They are different from everything else she's released (and what other artists are releasing), so that might ignite some interest. If it doesn't work, then she might as well call it a day.

You can't lose your title as a legend. But it can diminish over time. Anyway, what she needs to do is promote. Jive thought they could be cute and only do 1 week of promo and slay the US again, but it backfired. She didn't even promote in other countries (radio interviews don't count). So instead of yall breaking down in here how about putting it to use. Spam Adam, Larry and Jive's emails, twitters, tumblrs, yahoos, hotmails, gmails etc. Asking why promo isn't being done cause ch...

Actually I'm fine with britney's numbers but I'm not fine with the lack of promo. I'm already okay considering Britney already had her contractual obligations set, so she already had the money and there's no one on her a$$ anymore, probably one of the reasons why she's already vacationing in Las Vegas... But it's not right to keep your fans hanging by. Fans are eagerly awaiting for her or atleast those people who were online and know that she has an album coming out... She just needs to spread the word that the bitch is really back... Tweets aren't enough...

I feel like Britney has done her all. The general public has really just lost interest with her. If only JIVE released the HIAM video/promoted it at the right time, this era could have been on track.
