Why would she record new music this week and release it in 2012? I think we will get the first single of the re-release in late september..

Not because someone records new music doesnt mean an album will come soon.
Albums take time to create, she has to create a new image, new sound, new look and try and branch out her audience with these "new records" . By her recording now she is just getting a head start. I wouldnt be shocked by a new album Spring/Summer 2012 to coincide with her new movie. I wouldnt hold it against Rih.

I think the re-release is coming late 3rd quarter , early 4th quarter.

Girl, for some reason i think the Big Wigs at IDJ are going to do a MD urban release with Video, similar to Diva and Ego. It doesnt make sense to send to urban in April and release in July. That wouldnt be the most optimal choice in my opinion.
