I don't think Britney will/should get credited on the chart next week. This was not a collaboration in the normal sense. This was a little tipping point they tried to add.
It'll be interesting to see if S&M can even do this though, I think my money is still on E.T.

I'm wondering the same because Lil Mama wasn't credited for the Girlfriend remix. "Girlfriend" was already a hit when the Lil Mama remix was released and this is the same case with S&M.
However E.T was released as a Remix since the first moment it became a single.

Yeah I ignored the fact that Brit will get $$$. But to the stans it's more important for their faves to get #1.
But I'm sure DJ wouldn't mind paying Billboard to make an exception for Britney to be credited.
and even if ET loses the #1 for a week... its been HUGE and its HUGE..... it will be another 3xPlatinum for Katy and its been #1 for 3 weeks and will go #1 on Pop radios and probably in the overall AI too
