I don't feel it has enough hype. However if the song is really as good as people have been saying it is, anything's possible.

I think that within the next week her team can effectively build up hype. Plus, if they do a radio release prior to the digital release (still hoping they will), then it will help more.

I'm honestly not expecting Judas to open at #1, ET is just a monster right now and this isn't the first single. And if that remix is released next week I definitely think it would block it. But I guess I have to hear the song first.

But really I'm more anxious about the quality of the song than the chart position.

This. It's opening debut is not my priority. It will do great and probably be #1 the first week or later on. I'm waiting for that Gaga smash that will stay in my iPad most played songs for the next 2 years

Why are people convinced Judas won't do as well as BTW if its a better song it do should exceed it. Plus the album has not been released so there is no excuse for off so many people have the album. Judas should be just fine. A banner on iTunes will have the monsters flocking to buy it.

Exactly. BTW was cute, but honestly I didn't even download it. This feels like the real start of the album era for me, and if it disappoints, it's honestly gonna kill some of my excitement for the album.

And GaGaFan I agree, for some reason I just feel like this song will be good. I felt BTW was being overhyped before it was even released, so I trust my instincts.

If it's a better song I expect it to do better in the long run, not to mention there will be massive promo for it anyway. But BTW had the first single hype going for it the first week. But I guess we'll see how strong her digital power is when it's released.
