Each category will have at least 40 distinct artist entries instead of 25. If they received 25-39 entries, there will only be 3 nominees. Fewer than 25 entries = category on hiatus. Fewer than 25 entries for 3 years =
Ballot now consists of 78 categories in 31 genre fields. Previously voters could vote up to 9 genres plus the general field.
NOW, on each ballot, voters will be able to vote in up to 20 categories across the genre fields plus the 4 categories in the general field.
