It's great! It's sexy, it's stylish, it's pretty much everything I want a Britney video in the year 2011 to be.
I can sit here and nitpick about little things, like the fact that for a song that demands we "keep on dancing till the world ends" the video is a little bit light on the choreography, or the (once again) chaotic editing (Did they give us enough shots of the extras writhing in ecstasy and making orgasm faces?), but it was still really well executed and seems like a step in the right direction... not that I think HIAM is the horrible misstep most people make it out to be.
And of course, there will be that "dance version" which will feature more of the choreography (seems like a mistake to leave it out in the first place, but whatever) so I'm sure I'll be ridiculously pleased with that version.
Here we go. Britney MADE the video not Ray Kay, even though the edit is great.
What did she do? She barely moved. The video looked great. Britney didn't do much...she just walked around a nice looking set. Ke$ha would've done better than that.
Are you guys kidding me? She is NOT stiff in this video. She's SMILING and laughing. She's moving so much better. I haven't seen this Britney since I"m A Slave 4 U / Toxic days. Look at her eyes, she's full of life. Look at Piece of Me, her eyes are dead like she's not even there.
She is back. Yes she is slowly getting back on top again, but she hasn't been this good since her Britney / In The Zone days. Blackout / Circus she just wasn't fully there. Womanizer was a great video and all, but this video just gave life.
She's getting there, and by the next video, hopefully we'll see a full new Britney back on top.
This is her best video, defintely and I think honestly, this is the best video I've laid my eyes upon in my entire life. It just gave me life. Britney was happy and smiling and she was actually into the video/song. For all you whiners, be happy, we haven't seen this Britney in YEARS. This proves she can dance still, cause come on she was giving it her all, (even tho the choregraphy was simple) but regardless you can tell she was putting it all in. Why doesn't she do this while performing? Stage fright?
