I think the production on BR could've been a lot stronger. Wasn't it rushed because she was on tour and everything? It kind of shows.
She wrote it while she was on tour with The Fame Ball I believe and she had plenty of time to produce it. I'm happy with the production, though I always wish the bass line was crisper and deeper. Anyways, the production was so different from anything else at the time so it didn't really matter.
There's a reason why I took off the ATRL's #1 Bad Romance Stan title. People took it far too seriously and I'm not here for that. I have better things to do than defend the song when the whole bitchfest is based on opinion anyways.
Also: I've never understood why people practically orgasm over the demos and beg her to put them on new records. Some are really good, but I'm here for artistic evolution.
