Im not too fond of her voice either, but if rihanna could somehow score a hit on the country charts it could mean big things for her. First she'll be making history and second it will open her up to a new group of fans and she'll be widening her fanbase. Country fans are the most loyal fans in music. Just a thought. Some Pop acts have has some biggest hits on country charts.

If a duet is released it could easily hit the top 40/20 on the country charts, based on the acm performance and jennifer nettles star-power at country radio.
Yeah, of course it'll free fall, but this proves that it's a good reaction towards the song. I wasn't tracking stuff back when she performed RS101 on Idol, but I remember back then on Idol's Wiki page it said that performance had no effect on RS101's chart performance.
