You guys are overreacting. I've read Britney interviews from the past and she explained how fame can suddenly give you satisfaction yet you realize later on that everything gets to you and there are times where you cannot handle. Frankly I'm more than happy that she lasted so far in the industry, while her contemporaries come and fade. I thought it was over during her meltdown in 2007, but I'm glad that she came back with great music.

She doesn't have to follow Madonna's footsteps. Britney already made her mark as one of the greatest and most influential artist in music. Don't hold it against her for doing what makes her happy

She's hot and her imagery is often beautiful and unique. She never really does what's expected of her. I wouldn't quite call her experimental, but outside of the token "Till the World Ends" or "Stronger," she doesn't follow trends. She has her own identity in music and in visual presentation. It never gets old and it wouldn't be confused with anybody else.

People have to understand that Britney has already been in the industry for 13 years and counting. If she were to go the Madonna route that would mean she would be releasing music for a total of 34 years. Which would actually be a decade longer than Madonna has actually released music.

That's another 21 years combined with her 13 years already in the industry. That would be like Madonna during her Ray Of Light era saying that she wanted to continue releasing music until 2017.
