Wasn't Gasoline one of the worst charting tracks on Itunes? Not to mention, no one is checking for Gasoline.

The song on the album that's the most Britney is Gasoline, and when you hear it, you only think of Britney. And not just any Britney, but Britney in her Toxic prime. It's not as good as Toxic, but that's a tall order for anyone.
How can you expect Britney to sell like Britney if she doesn't really sound like Britney?
I repeated Britney a lot, but that's the point.

I totally agree darling.

In addition, they're now releasing “Big Fat Bass.”
I think “Till The World Ends” shouldn’t have been a single at all, especially not a second one. I’m starting to think it should have been just a bonus track.
Either “I Wanna Go” or “Gasoline” would have been a great follow-up to “Hold It Against Me.”

it's not just that. Hold It Against Me is Britney. Till The World Ends isn't but it's more than that. Britney didn't promote for 2 months. She's not always going to survive on no promo. Her label thought they could get away with it again.

THIS!!!!
I Wanna Go, Gasoline...and Inside Out would have made better single choices.
TTWE is catchy -- but it doesn't represent the album well and it makes Britney look like a bandwagoner.

Britney is not selling like before because her career is in decline. It's the marketing law, you born-peak-mature-decline, she had a second "born" with Circus and is now maturing again. That said, we all wish our careers had declines like Britney's.

TTWE was a bad single choice, not to mention rush releasing TTWE after it leaked; and rush releasing HIAM worldwide after it was #1 everywhere.
Not to mention, as you say, promotion -- Britney NEEDED/NEEDS to promote more.

"Inside Out" and "Criminal" are singles-worthy, but not second single material IMO. I kinda agree about "Till The World Ends," many people see her like that, even though we not she's not.

I'm not liking how TTWE is stalling on Itunes, it needs to pick up some!

“Hold It Against Me” would have had more longevity if the video were released earlier. In addition, one late January/early February performance would have done wonders.
More promotion isn’t necessarily the key, promoting at the right time is.
