Yes, there is plenty reason to hate it. The lyrics, her voice, the production, the video...

not supposed to be a funny song. A song that is supposed to be funny is either a parody, a song by a comedian, or just a song that's meant to be funny such as "Grow a Pear" or "Peacock." "Friday" is meant to be taken as a serious song for partying on the weekends, but it's just so bad that it's hilarious.

But JoJo was only one year older when she made an entire album that was more mature than people twice her age! Michael Jackson even had "Ben" out when he was like, what, 10? So age isn't an excuse. Especially when she didn't write it herself.
