Yeah, a lot of English words takes their roots from French, which takes its own roots from Latin and Greek (same thing for Spanish). So that's why you'll find a lot of similarities.
the ending I used is for the future "You'll show me your progress"
I'll show you some poems I did in French if you want, it's very poetic to write with this langage.
