Sleazy is probably my favorite Ke$ha song. I secretly wish Ke$ha was a fierce black diva (a la Fatima, pictured in my avatar) who focused mainly on Urban songs over infectious beats with that special twang Sleazy has. Of course with a few dance songs, mid-tempos, etc in her album and a singles catalog with more variety.
I also think Beyonce is overrated. She did not deserve to win all of those Grammys last year. Single Ladies is so overrated. It is not one of the best videos of all time and it's not iconic (it's impact is ionic).
I agree with this. Grammys last year were a mess, IASF is Beyoncé's weakest effort IMO and Single Ladies is the only song I don't like from her.
I used to be a huge Bey stan. In 2004, I bought Dangerously In Love, Destiny Fulfilled, The Writing's On The Wall, and Destiny's Child in the same month.
I bought B'Day the second day after it came out. I hated it at first, but it quickly grew on me.
I still love Beyonce, but I hate I Am...Sasha Fierce. It's horrible. I bought I Am..Yours CD/DVD, but I haven't watched it in full.
I also think Beyonce is overrated. She did not deserve to win all of those Grammys last year. Single Ladies is so overrated. It is not one of the best videos of all time and it's not iconic (it's impact is ionic). The only reason why it was so big is b/c everybody and they mamas made a parody of the video. "If I Were A Boy" deserved SIngle Ladies's success. It's a much better song and it has a great video.
Yet if she was singing about sex all throughout the album yall would be saying she took a risk. Please. That's why Bey is wehre she is and why yall favs is where they are. That's not taking a risk.
