Co-executive producer of Femme Fatale, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald is counter-suing The Bellamy Brothers after they publicly said "Hold It Against Me" is a rip-off of their 1979 hit "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?", according to TMZ.com.
Dr. Luke also says the Bellamy Brothers' ridicule was "a publicity stunt aimed to increase their record sales ... and to combat their dwindling relevance."
Not only does Luke want damages for defamation, he wants a court order stating once and for all Britney's song has nothing to do with The Bellamy Brothers' version. An apology!
