lmao no. it was chosen because it had the most downloads of any song on the album. it's as simple as that with that one. It specifies the reason for the chose of single in WRITING; announcing it to the investors/execs in a document.

Neither Def Jam, Universal, or Rihanna (herself or team) had possession of the video prior to it leaking.
The person who leaked it hacked an account of Jonas. My understanding is that the blog that leaked it didn't hack it themselves, but they bought or traded some kind of service or money for it.
